The Struggles of a New Orchardist

As a new Orchardists, my husband and I have found it emotionally challenging to thin the fruit. We keep reminding each other we are doing it to be good "parents." We are so excited to see little apples, but they must go so our baby trees can grow big and strong and not worry about making fruit for a few years.
